Legalisation now requires that all facilities build or offered for rent or for sale after 2009 must have a building energy rating certificate.
Larger office facilities can benefit from alternative energy options including Building Energy Assessment & BER Rating services.
A large amount of existing office facilities have not undergone building energy assessments at the design stage as it was not a criteria at the time of construction.
Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical set up a new sales division with the recent buyout of Questcor. This gave rise to new offices for their sales and administration teams. A short term lease was taken out in a facility in Sandyford. This was to provide the initial base. The key for the project was to fit out the office space as efficiently as possible with a lower budget keeping in mind the lease term. Creative Space Services set out a few office design layout options to match the brief. CSS then executed the office fit out and leasing with the US based IT staff to provide the connectivity within the organisation.
